Most Pakistani houses start as a sketch: a 5 marla plot, a rough rectangle of rooms, a staircase squeezed in where it fits. The sketch is fine for arguing about layouts. It cannot tell you how many square feet of tile to buy, and the gap between those two things is where finishing budgets quietly die.
The floor planner closes that gap, and it is free for everyone: no account, no seat count, no trial clock. Draw the layout or upload the plan you already have, calibrate the scale once, and read off the measured areas you actually need to price the job.
Start from the plot you actually have
One marla is 272.25 square feet. Before drawing a single wall, set the plot envelope to match the site, because a plan drawn at the wrong overall size produces rooms that feel right on screen and cannot be built.

Plot shapes vary by society and by street. Measure your own frontage and depth rather than trusting the table: two 10 marla plots on the same street can differ by several feet.
From sketch to measured plan in four steps

Set the envelope
Enter the plot width and depth in feet. Everything you draw afterwards sits inside a boundary that matches the site.

Draw or upload
Trace rooms, wet areas, walls, doors and the slab outline on the canvas, or upload the architect plan as an image and trace over it.

Calibrate the scale once
Click two points on a dimension you know, such as a 12 ft wall or a standard door, and type the real distance. Every measurement afterwards inherits that scale.

Read the quantities
Areas, perimeters and counts, grouped the way a BOQ is structured rather than the way a CAD file is: rooms, wet areas, external walls, slab.
Calibrate against the longest known dimension on the plan, not the shortest. A small click error on a 1 metre reference spreads across every wall in the building. The same click error on a 10 metre wall costs you far less.
What you get out of it
- Room areas for flooring, ceiling and paint: bedrooms, lounge, drawing room, kitchen, baths.
- Wet area totals grouped separately, because bath and kitchen finishes are priced differently from dry rooms.
- Wall perimeters for plaster and paint on both faces, and the slab outline for concrete and formwork.
- Door, window and gate counts with sizes, so joinery and steel schedules start from a list rather than a guess.
- DXF and PDF export when you need to send the drawing to someone who works in AutoCAD or on paper.

A take-off tool that claims to remove the quantity surveyor is selling the one thing it cannot deliver. This one removes the tracing.
From plan to price

Is it really free for a 5 marla house plan?+
Yes. The take-off itself is free for any size of plan, with no account required. An account only matters if you want the quantities to land in a BOQ and carry through to costing.
Can I upload my architect plan instead of drawing?+
Yes, as an image or PDF. Upload it, calibrate against a known dimension on that drawing, then trace the areas you want measured.
How accurate is it?+
As accurate as your calibration and your tracing. On a clean plan calibrated against a long known dimension, it is good enough to price from. On an angled photograph of a printout, treat the result as approximate.
Can I use it on a phone?+
It opens on a phone, but tracing accurately with a finger is hard. Use a mouse or a stylus for anything you intend to price.
